GUITAR: Foundation level courses in guitar are offered to young people aged 10-17 and to Adults. Classes take place weekly in small groups, for eight-week sessions, and are usually available in January, April and September.

DWANE SCHOOL OF MUSIC: The Dwane School of Music in Ballina, Co Mayo offers courses in piano and guitar. The part-time school is run by local man David Dwane, B.A., Dip Mus (Open).

CLASSICAL PIANO: David teaches from his home at The Quay, Ballina, Co. Mayo. He holds a Diploma in Music from the Open University, and has been teaching classical piano up to and including Royal Irish Academy of Music Senior Certificate Level for much of the past thirty years. In that time he has provided one-to-one lessons to hundreds of Mayo and Sligo students, mostly for Pianoforte graded exams but also to those interested in more informal lessons.
