Home Alone in Concert at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar

Christmas shows in Ireland, including at the Royal Theatre on 30th November

A true holiday favourite, this beloved comedy classic features renowned composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score performed live to picture by The Orchestra of Ireland.

With over 100 performers, Home Alone in Concert is the must-see Christmas event for 2019, with a full live orchestra and choir on stage accompanying the classic film on screen.

Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister, an 8-year-old boy who’s accidentally left behind when his family leaves for the Christmas holidays, and who must defend his home against two bungling thieves.  Hilarious and heart-warming, Home Alone – now almost 30 years old – is holiday fun for the entire family and the concert performance comes to Ireland for the first time this Christmas.

The legendary film composer, John Williams, said: “I took great pleasure in composing the score for the film, and I am especially delighted that the magnificent Orchestra of Ireland has agreed to perform the music in this very special live presentation of the movie.”

The concert also plays in Killarney and Dublin.
Tickets are priced €59.50 + Booking Fee, and go on sale this Friday September 13th at 9am via Ticketmaster.
