Shaun Warner and Reiner Erlings create pop magic on ‘We Collide’

Galwayman Shaun Warner’s prolific start to the year continues with ‘We Collide,’ a seamless slice of irresistible pop written in collaboration with film and TV composer Reiner Erlings.

While the old adage might be ‘jack of all trades, master of none,’ UAE producer and Billboard Top 100 regular Shaun Warner is proving that he’s one of the best all-round producers in the Middle East, adept at turning his hand to almost any genre.

Having successfully turned his hand to disco, drum and bass, house and radio friendly pop music over recent years hitting the Billboard Top 100 and iTunes album charts, his latest collaboration with TV composer and music producer Reiner Erlings is possibly his best yet.

‘We Collide’ is a stunning and emotive work of art, full of flowing piano melodies, tumbling drums, plucked strings and vibrato, creating a swirling, widescreen love song that you’ll be humming long after the piano notes have stopped resonating.

A true collaboration right down to the track’s title, the intense musical meeting took place over an action-packed week of late nights and creativity: Shaun took his

producer knowledge and cross-genre skills to the table while Reiner, a long-standing UAE resident and professional composer who recently scored the soundtrack to Netflix hit ‘Justice,’ added his musical mastery. The result is ‘We Collide,’ a genuinely breath-taking track.

Shaun Warner is a UAE-based Irish artist whose work spans disco, pop, house and on occasion, drum n’ bass, all carefully crafted around smooth vocals and lush synths.

Shaun originally hails from Menlo in Galway where he started his music career as a DJ in 1998. He quickly moved up the ranks, from supporting local names through to promoting his own club nights, followed by a stint DJing in Dublin at venues including The Odeon and Sin. In 2007 Shaun left Ireland and spent several years in Australia, performing at many of the country’s biggest festivals including Stereosonic, Summafieldayze, Parklife, White Paradise, and Creamfields. Those DJ sets saw him signed as an ambassador for Hed Kandi in Australasia, and it was during this time that Shaun began creating his own music in earnest.

In 2016, Shaun signed a deal with Universal Music MENA to release his debut album, Shaun Warner & Friends which dropped in January 2017. The album outperformed all expectations and made its way to number one on the UAE iTunes chart as well as cracking the top 50 charts in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Shaun followed this debut success with three singles released from his second album, Stay: ‘Chasing’ was released in December 2017 and spent eight weeks in the US Billboard Charts Top 50 as well as charting strongly across the Middle East as well as Australia (9 – iTunes) and Denmark (9 – iTunes). The album Stay entered the Irish Charts impressively and made its way to No 1 on the dance charts and No 13 overall.

Shaun‘s remixes have also been gaining international acclaim and he has charted in the US Billboard Dance charts 5 times in 2018 and as a result is highly in demand.
