RED BULL MUSIC STAGE

Friday 31 May  –1 June

Once again, Red Bull Music bring you an incredible line up featuring some of the best talent on their stage at AVA this year. Friday will see performances from PEAR, CAIT and INSIDE MOVES. Expect synth-heavy beats from RBMA alumni and label founders TIMMY STEWART and JMX, plus serious dancefloor hits from Berlin producer and DJ PALMS TRAX. HORSE MEAT DISCO will be bringing a bag full of no-holds-barred disco tunes. Headlining the night is the one and only THE BLACK MADONNA.

A sublime technician behind the decks, The Black Madonna is known for fluent and dynamic vinyl sets, which span from disco to techno. Of her philosophy she said, “Dance music needs riot grrrls. Dance music needs Patti Smith. Dance music does not need more of the status quo.”

With an equally stellar line up on Saturday, check out DAIRE, NOAH and HIGH HOOPS.  One of the most sought-after DJs of this decade and founder of one of the most important labels in UK dance music BEN UFO joins the bill. With serious releases under her belt, Derry born OR:LA has been making waves with her love of jungle, techno and old-school dubstep – and rightly so.

RBMA alumni COURTESY is the Danish DJ putting Copenhagen’s techno scene on the map. Birmingham-via-Berlin’s techno stalwart REBEKAH is one of the most in-demand DJs and producers out there. Finally, headlining Saturday night is the awesome RANDOMER. With a brilliant back catalogue which reads like a who’s who of techno, a brace of EPs, and a reputation as one of the UK’s finest DJs, this is one set you don’t want to miss.
