Rowlette doubles up for new single

I Know How it Felt is an intimate duet from Irish talents Rowlette and Daragh Daly. It started out as a song for one voice but evolved into a duet featuring impressive vocal interaction between the two singers, and a strong stadium pop feel.

Exploring the end of a relationship, I Know How it Felt is a guitar-driven, upbeat track and the pair’s first offering together.

“I think, when it comes to the end of the relationship, there are always two sides, and the truth lies somewhere in the middle,” said Rowlette, aka Sarah Keane from Ballina, Co. Mayo, whose own music is in the realm of folk pop.

“It’s impossible to be objective when there’s so much love and hurt. We tried to capture that dichotomy and emotion in the song,” she said.

“It was a subject matter we could all relate to in the room” said Daragh.
“Hopefully, listeners won’t have gone through something similar, but sadly I
think most will have at some point!”

Written in the Wicklow countryside by the duo and Jessica Foxx, the song was influenced by artists such as Noah Kahan, Fleetwood Mac, Hozier and  Mumford & Sons.

Both artists were finalists during this year’s Irish Music Month competition.
supported by IMRO and Hot Press.

Rowlette is recognised for her powerful vocals, storytelling ability and
captivating performances, and has supported a host of Ireland’s top talents, including Jack L and Junior Brother.

Rowlette’s tracks have received radio play across Irish and international radio stations and have been added to several Spotify editorial playlists.

Daragh Daly is a 21-year old indie pop singer songwriter from Co. Meath.

Daragh is also a multi instrumentalist who prides himself on constantly
delving into diverse musical genres. His first encounter with music was picking up his grandad’s guitar!

He is influenced by idols such as Noah Kahan, Kingfishr, Lewis Capaldi, Lauv, Joy Division and Clinton Kane.
